Now the exciting part, matching!!!
My first matching experience, I was given a few couples profiles to review. I felt connected with one couple’s profile but decided to do some research on their clinic. The clinic wanted 3 to 4 trips to NYC… I was disheartened. I felt like the additional trips were not ideal for my situation. Joe was such a great sounding board and helped me talk things out along the way. Ultimately, I decided that I needed to see more IP profiles working with clinics that align with my needs as well.
Drum roll……
I was matched to a single mom. As a single mom, myself, I felt passionate about helping an individual who struggled with fertility issues. The intended mom and I got along very well. We agreed on many things like diet and nutrition. We agreed on expectations during pregnancy and delivery. We bonded over parenting tips.
