I had been thinking about surrogacy and becoming a surrogate for about 2 years. This June 2023, I finally started my journey. Truthfully, it was a little overwhelming because once I started researching agencies, there were ads and posts coming up on my social media all the time. There were so many agencies to choose from and the most important thing on my mind was to choose a reputable agency. This is a big life changing commitment and there is the potential for major medical complications, so I wanted to make sure I was in good hands. So far this has been the most nerve-racking part of the process for me. Thankfully that is when I found Surrogacy Is. They are an agency that is an advocate for you! I completed just their medical forms, spoke to a representative to get information about the whole process and they answered all my questions. Then they sent my application out to reputable agencies. This was such a relief! I got offers from 3 different agencies. Each had their similarities but each also had its own little intricacies that make them different. I am VERY HAPPY with my choice of the New York Surrogacy Center. They have been there for me every step of the way with encouraging emails, informative zoom calls, and any time I have a question they are very quick to respond. In my opinion choosing an agency is one of, if not the most important decision you will make along your journey. You want to make sure your choices are heard, supported, and carried out throughout this process and your agency should do that for you. So far, I couldn’t ask for anything more from the New York Surrogacy Center. I would recommend them to anyone looking into becoming a surrogate. I am so excited for this journey to continue!
