Oh S N A P š² Submitting Surrogate App
Have you ever wondered how many miles your thumb has scrolled in its lifetime on social media? Enough to go the Olympics thatās for sureĀ š. Well, in Spring 2022 I decided to scroll deep into my feelings, femininity, and 416 week experience of womenās health to research in being a gestational carrier. Iāve worked in OB, GYN, and REI and Iāve always wanted to give my contribution to womenās health in some way. Being raised by a L&D Nurse, that also adopted my mother, I was well versed on the various ways anyone can āgrowā a family. After looking into
Decisions to Surrogacy
I decided to fill out an application to become a surrogate after contemplating if this is something I really wanted to do. Personally, knowing the NYSC team, you are in great hands working with individuals who truly care and want the best outcome. To say they are amazing and compassionate is an understatement. Once you work with them, youāll just know this is the right agency to walk you through every step. While that had a lot to do with our decision, it still took me 6 months to decide with my husband if this was the right decision for
My Surrogacy Journey
My surrogacy journey began in October. I had a friend of a friend reach out to me about being their surrogate. Becoming a surrogate was something that had crossed my mind before. I already had two children and loved being pregnant but didnāt know exactly the process of becoming one. After some communication back and forth and lunch with the intended parents I started the process and my journey to becoming a surrogate began. I considered the first half of the process āphase oneā. During phase one I had to get clearance and approval with my own doctors. I scheduled
The Start of My Surrogacy Journey
In October 2022 I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a surrogate. I initially started by doing a survey/screening to see if I was even eligible to become a surrogate. On October 28th I had a phone interview/screening with my advocate from Surrogacy Is and I was 100% eligible to become a surrogate! By November 2nd I was offered to pick between 2 agencies to decide who I wanted to work with on my surrogate journey, I chose New York Surrogacy Center as they stood out most to me. They are smaller and newer but very involved with each
Becoming a Surrogate
So why did I decide to become a surrogate? Well I decided back in 2020 that surrogacy was a journey I wanted to explore, to provide the chance for a loving couple/family to have a bundle of joy, but my attempts were halted because of COVID and because it was not surrogate friendly just yet in New York. So after the birth of my second son February 2022, I decided I wanted to give it another try and that's exactly what I did! I looked up Surrogacy in New York and it brought me straight to the New York Surrogacy

The Surrogacy Screening/Application Process
For me, this Journey began when an ad popped up on my Facebook page labeled ābecome a surrogate today, which was the first step in working with NYSC! I have known people within my circle who have become surrogates and decided to take the quiz. Not long after I was contacted via phone by a company that manages to get your profile out to prospective companies like New York Surrogacy Center. Soon after, I had multiple offers from several companies. After having a conversation with my spouse, we decided New York Surrogacy Center was the best match for us. New
My Application and Pre-screening Process
My name is Krystal.Ā I am 31 years old and I'm a bit of a #birthjunkie.Ā Pregnancy and birth have fascinated me since before I could read, and Iāve wanted to be a surrogate for as long as I can remember.Ā After a wonderful pregnancy, delivery of our daughter, and deciding our family was complete, I got myself into countless surrogacy info/chat groups on social media.Ā The lurking began.Ā I immersed myself in the lingo, the agency reviews, the anecdotes, the miracles, the tragedies--all of it.Ā I wasn't in a huge rush because my kiddo was still nursing at night
Pre-screening and Application
My name is Nikki. I am a mother of two (under 5) and married to my bestfriend. Since my last born in 2019 I have been researching GS. I loved being pregnant and we as a family are whole, so for me Surrogacy was a no-brainer! I love to help others and what better way to help then to help another family become whole. To become a surrogate it is suggested to do a lot of research before taking the plunge. Which I did. (Since having my son in 2019!) There are also a ton of Facebook groups to join
