Deciding to Become a Surrogate

Agency Pre-Screening / Application Process

After choosing New York Surrogacy center as the agency I wanted to work with, I was introduced to Joe and the team at NYSC. Joe was great with the intake process and gathered my information while answering any questions I had. Joe educated me on the process, topics to think about, and what to expect going forward. Although I had done my research about surrogacy prior to applying to be a candidate, I was given more information on the process and areas of the process I hadn’t thought about. Topics such as pregnancy reduction/termination, deciding my surrogacy preferences, etc. I always

Embryo Transfer Process

After all clearances were issued, we were then good to go to start the embryo transfer process. This started off with tracking my period and communicating with the clinic to determine when to start the injections and wean off birth control. I took an injection teaching class offered by the fertility clinic that gave clear instructions as I self-administered the injections. I was nervous to self-administer but after a couple times it became easier. It started with 3 weeks of Lupron injections in the lower abdomen along with rotating estrogen patches By the end of this I was wearing

Finding an Agency

I had been thinking about surrogacy and becoming a surrogate for about 2 years. This June 2023, I finally started my journey. Truthfully, it was a little overwhelming because once I started researching agencies, there were ads and posts coming up on my social media all the time. There were so many agencies to choose from and the most important thing on my mind was to choose a reputable agency. This is a big life changing commitment and there is the potential for major medical complications, so I wanted to make sure I was in good hands. So far this

Surrogacy: The Application & Pre-Screening Process

This is my first surrogacy journey and so far, it has not been hard at all. The pre-screening/application process is very easy. Filling out the application to see if you qualify to become a surrogate was very helpful and quick. The next step is the prescreening process. It is a little frustrating because you have to wait for your doctor to do their part, but all you want to do is meet your family that you are going to be on the beautiful journey with. I love working with Joe and his team. They are so great and easy going.

The Pre-Screening & Application Process

I am a first time mom with a now 13 month old. I have donated my eggs in the past and then I came across surrogacy posts for months until I finally decided to see what it was fully about. I searched a lot of information and different websites and finally came across a surrogacy advocate website and connected with them who then connected me to the New York Surogacy Center and that's when I knew I felt like it was something I was extremely interested in and felt like the right thing to do in my life.  The application

Becoming a Surrogate

I’m Trenity and this is my prescreening and application process to becoming a surrogate. When I was younger I was the girl everyone knows who isn’t getting married or having kids but then you know people say that changes when you meet your person. After having my first son and getting married ( we weren’t married until my first baby was 10 months) I wasn’t sure which direction I would take as far as expanding my family. I watched my sister struggle with infertility and I always told her I will have you a baby and I meant it. Later

Starting my Surrogacy Journey

Getting started on this journey is really no different than the start of anything we do. It honestly reminded me of buying a house. Find a realtor or in this situation finding a agency. Search for the team that you feel most comfortable with and want to work with. Search for the people that not just care for you but care about you and that has how it has been working with NYSC. From the first email after completing the initial application Joe has been prompt about always answering any question or concern I have and this being my first surrogacy journey

My Surrogate Application and Pre-Screening Process

My prescreening and application process was so easy and smooth. Joe and the rest of the team were so kind and easy to reach during every step. Starting from the initial phone call, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through the application process. They were quick to help me get all of my previous medical records sent to them, and helped me know exactly what appointments I needed to have. I could not have asked for things to go any smoother!

Becoming a Surrogate

While I’ve always been curious and fascinated by surrogacy, I never truly thought about it as something I, myself, would be able to do. It wasn’t until after I had my first daughter and I had made more friends who were in same sex relationships, that it started coming up in conversation; I would semi-jokingly offer to carry a baby for them. They would laugh and say they’d think of me first if they ever decided to try to have a baby. But those conversations are what truly planted the seed that surrogacy could be an actual possibility. Fast forward a
