The First Trimester
After the shots, bloodwork, and doctors, I got the big positive result we all hoped for. My first ultrasound was scheduled to confirm a heartbeat. I went in when I was 7 weeks and 3 days. After all the clearances leading up to this point, it felt like a dream. This is the part that we all waited for. I got the legal clearance, and the next step was starting the medicine. Medial clearance and psychological evaluation was my next task of completion. I had never been to Connecticut before and was excited to experience some cooler weather than Florida. Application is signed and profile is sealed. Potential candidates are sent. Having an open, honest, and transparent personality makes it harder to see past the summarized paragraph for couples. Will they be overbearing? Will they shut down communication? Will they not like my sometimes over detailed personality? I was open to the first two candidates based on medical background and interracial similarities. Surrogacy: The Application & Pre-Screening Process
This is my first surrogacy journey and so far, it has not been hard at all. The pre-screening/application process is very easy. Filling out the application to see if you qualify to become a surrogate was very helpful and quick. The next step is the prescreening process. It is a little frustrating because you have to wait for your doctor to do their part, but all you want to do is meet your family that you are going to be on the beautiful journey with. I love working with Joe and his team. They are so great and easy going.

Becoming a Surrogate
I’m Trenity and this is my prescreening and application process to becoming a surrogate. Starting my Surrogacy Journey
Getting started on this journey is really no different than the start of anything we do. It honestly reminded me of buying a house. Find a realtor or in this situation finding a agency. Search for the team that you feel most comfortable with and want to work with. Search for the people that not just care for you but care about you and that has how it has been working with NYSC. From the first email after completing the initial application Joe has been prompt about always answering any question or concern I have and this being my first surrogacy journey
My Surrogate Application and Pre-Screening Process
My prescreening and application process was so easy and smooth. Joe and the rest of the team were so kind and easy to reach during every step. Starting from the initial phone call, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through the application process. They were quick to help me get all of my previous medical records sent to them, and helped me know exactly what appointments I needed to have. I could not have asked for things to go any smoother!
