Lemme tell you a lil’ somethin about… pre-screening.
Initially, I had gone through “Surrogacy Is” for my advocacy and gateway into the world of surrogacy. They set me up with a few options, and ultimately, New York surrogacy Center is the one that I chose. I am forever happy with that decision. Joe and Shanika were there with me every step of the way. Whether it be early in the morning or late at night; I would get an answer to all of my questions. Starting with the application process, I would have to say it could not be more user-friendly. Not only will they send you a link but it is also found on their website front and center. The most painstaking process was gathering my medical records as I was quite young when I had my first child. (Not to mention me giving the wrong birthday so the hospitals could not find me in their systems) It was a bit of a haha moment but hey I have three children at home and work full time so blame the mom brain. While the pre-screening process was tedious and a hell of a lot of leg work, at the same time, it was seamless. Whenever I had a bump in the road, they were there to support and guide me through it. One piece of advice I would give is that when they tell you after pre-screening that things pick up a lot; believe them. When we had our agency phone call that same day, we had a match. It sent our heads spinning but not with nervousness, with excitement. I can’t wait to continue this journey with New York Surrogacy Center.
